Welcome to the BASE Youth Community, a space for the next generation of energy leaders. BASE is committed to youth participation in building our sustainable future. Through non-formal learning, international exchanges, and inclusive initiatives, we empower young people across the Balkans to take the lead in the green transition.
Youth Exchanges: Week-long camps and exchanges where young people from the Western Balkans and across Europe come together to learn about renewable energy and climate action. Training Courses: We conduct training for youth leaders and volunteers on topics like sustainable project management, energy entrepreneurship, and community organizing. Volunteer Opportunities: Through the European Solidarity Corps and local initiatives, BASE connects youth with community solar projects, tree-planting drives, and awareness campaigns. Young volunteers gain practical experience and make a tangible impact.
Our Youth programs embrace inclusion and diversity, we reach out to young people of all backgrounds, ensuring equal opportunities for those with fewer resources or from underrepresented communities. We particularly encourage young women to join and lead in the sustainable energy field, breaking stereotypes and bringing new perspectives. Everyone is welcome in BASE, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or ability, it’s our diversity that makes us stronger.
